We're looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to help power analytics across a major academic medical center building reports, extracts, and dashboards that clinicians and operational leaders rely on every day. 

 Work Style: Onsite
 Location: Gainesville, FL 
 FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Develops Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that enable data-driven decision making across the organization. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, designing and deploying ETL processes, and creating dashboards and reports that deliver actionable business insights. Troubleshoots data quality and performance issues, document BI processes and data models, and support the adoption of new BI tools and technologies. Ensures compliance with data security standards throughout BI development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.
• Designs and supports dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that deliver actionable business insights.
• Troubleshoots data quality, reporting, and system performance issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Documents BI processes, workflows, data models, and reporting standards to support operational consistency.
• Supports the implementation and adoption of new BI tools, technologies, and reporting capabilities.
• Ensures compliance with organizational data governance, privacy, and security standards throughout BI development activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field preferred

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development or data analytics support
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling concepts, and Business Intelligence tools and technologies
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business insights and operational decision-making
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills related to data quality and reporting performance
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards related to BI and reporting environments
