Summary:

Analyzes business process and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives. Applies advanced analytical skills within the functional area. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects. Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration) required.

Relevant Experience

  • 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, IT systems analysis, and technology implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop functional specifications by translating business requirements into clear and concise functional documentation.
  • Perform testing and validation by collaborating with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate the solution against business requirements, and ensure proper functionality.
  • Monitor and evaluate solution performance by tracking and measuring the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Other

  • Strong understanding of project management processes and principles, experience in IT budget forecasting, and proficiency in business intelligence tools such as SAP, BOBJ, and BPC.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of independently driving projects from concept to production with minimal supervision.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills required, including experience with complex queries, multi-table joins, and large-scale datasets across multiple systems.
  • Experience with software development best practices, source control, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, testing, and managing development and production environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures is a plus.
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Procurement, Demand Planning, or related business functions preferred.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and AI-assisted software development.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills required.
