Job Overview

In this role, you'll analyze business processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions. Use your advanced analytical skills to interpret business issues, recommend best practices, and devise innovative solutions. You'll work independently, leading projects and functional teams, and be recognized as an expert in your area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop functional specifications by translating business requirements into clear documentation.
  • Perform testing and validation in collaboration with QA teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate solution performance to ensure effectiveness.
  • Gather, document, and manage business requirements and user stories.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Support system integration efforts and cross-functional process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
  • 6-10 years of experience in business analysis, IT systems analysis, and technology implementation.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and principles.
  • Experience in IT budget forecasting and proficiency in business intelligence tools such as SAP, BOBJ, and BPC.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferences

  • Experience with Customer Information Systems (CIS), SAP/CAMS, and Work Management Systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with Electric Office (EO) or similar engineering/design systems.
  • Experience supporting utility, field operations, asset management, or customer service initiatives.
  • Previous experience working at FPL/NextEra Energy.
