We are seeking an experienced IT Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead the strategy, architecture, and operations of enterprise cloud environments across a global organization. Description
Own the architecture, governance, and daily operation of enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting business-critical applications.
Develop and enforce cloud security standards covering identity and access management, encryption, network security, secrets management, and monitoring.
Design and manage highly available cloud infrastructure, backup solutions, and disaster recovery capabilities aligned to RPO/RTO objectives.
Establish monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks to support a 24x7 global operating model.
Lead incident response and on-call processes, ensuring efficient escalation and communication procedures.
Apply ITIL best practices across incident, problem, change, request, and configuration management processes.
Own and maintain the CMDB, ensuring accurate configuration management and dependency mapping.
Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives through governance, tagging strategies, forecasting, and chargeback models.
Standardize Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
Define cloud platform standards, operating system baselines, and shared infrastructure services.
Collaborate with global technology teams to ensure consistent service delivery across regions and time zones.
Lead, mentor, and develop cloud and infrastructure professionals while delivering strategic projects and operational support.
Manage relationships with cloud vendors, service providers, and strategic technology partners.
Maintain documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, diagrams, inventories, and support materials.
Profile
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
6-8 years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure within AWS and/or Azure production environments.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, and security best practices.
Experience supporting critical enterprise platforms in a 24x7 global environment.
Practical knowledge of ITIL service management processes.
Experience managing CMDB platforms and configuration management processes.
Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud automation technologies.
Proven ability to design highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
Previous experience leading technical teams, cloud operations, and infrastructure projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York.
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office.
Job Offer
Permanent, full-time position.
Salary range: $125,000 - $145,000 per annum.
Hybrid working model with 3 days per week in Midtown Manhattan, New York.
