POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Co-op provides hands-on support to the Information Technology team while gaining practical experience in enterprise IT operations, user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, systems administration, cybersecurity practices, documentation, and project coordination. Under the direction of the IT Manager and designated IT team members, the IT Co-op will assist with day-to-day support requests, workstation setup, asset tracking, application support, process documentation, and technology improvement initiatives. This position is intended to provide meaningful technical experience while supporting the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT services across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and common business applications.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Ability to follow documented procedures, ask appropriate questions, and learn new technical concepts quickly.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle company information, user accounts, and equipment responsibly.
Customer-service mindset with a willingness to support employees at varying levels of technical experience.
Education and/or Experience, Skills
Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
Communication Skills
Ability to document support steps, technical findings, and process instructions in a clear and organized manner.
Ability to listen to user concerns, ask clarifying questions, and explain basic technical concepts in understandable terms.
