Job Title: Compliance Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months + Extensions
Pay Rate: $47/hr on W2 without Benefits
Summary:
This role supports enterprise technology governance by coordinating architecture reviews, supporting risk and compliance processes, tracking and enforcing IT controls, and enabling clear communication across technology, risk, and business stakeholders. This is a key role in ensuring technology initiatives align with established architectural standards and risk requirements while supporting transparency, efficiency, and timely decision making in a manner that benefits our aligned business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate technology architecture governance reviews and track submissions through required approval processes
Support governance documentation, review artefacts, and status reporting to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
Partner with technology, risk, security, and business teams to gather information, clarify requirements, and track dependencies
Assist with the monitoring and reporting of governance metrics, workload status, and approval timelines
Maintain and improve governance documentation, templates, and process materials
Support risk related workflows such as exceptions, approvals, renewals, and decommissioning activities
Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline coordination, reporting, and documentation
Provide clear, professional communication to stakeholders regarding status, next steps, and expectations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5-7 years of experience in technology delivery, governance, risk management, or related roles
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple items in parallel and meet deadlines as well as be discrete when handling confidential information
Must be highly energetic, analytical, detail-orientated, proactive, and able to prioritize when dealing with multiple assignments
Excellent communication/presentation skills (written and oral) in cross-cultural business environment
Excellent skills working with the Microsoft suite of applications, including MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Teams, & MS SharePoint
Proficient understanding and experience utilizing JIRA, Confluence, and Power BI (or similar project management, collaboration, and automation tools) for managing work efforts and reporting
Strong knowledge of IT processes and controls, including vulnerability management, system development lifecycle, identity and access management, application support, project management, vendor management, and the ability to identify and escalate risks, issues, and critical paths
Foundational understanding of application architecture concepts, including databases, servers, cloud hosting, on premises hosting, identity and access management (IAM), system integration, technology risk management, cybersecurity concepts, and compliance control.
