Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change,  based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Contract Analyst to oversee and manage a portfolio of critical Master Services Agreements (MSAs) supporting enterprise IT services. This role bridges Finance, Procurement, Legal, and IT, ensuring strong financial governance, contractual compliance, and operational performance across key Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

The ideal candidate brings a financial and contractual foundation and is motivated to work in a fast-evolving IT environment where technology delivery, vendor performance, and cost optimization directly impact business outcomes.
This position owns the end-to-end contract lifecycle—from strategic planning and negotiation through execution, performance management, and contract closeout—while driving continuous improvement in vendor governance and service delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Contract Administration & Compliance

    • Administer all aspects of contracts, including rates, schedules, amendments, and compliance obligations.

    • Manage and document the contract change order process (scope, pricing, approvals).

    • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, security requirements, and regulatory standards.

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including contract decisions, audit trails, and closeout records.

  • Risk Management & Controls

    • Implement and enforce scope control processes to minimize out-of-scope spend.

    • Track issues such as errors, rework, and service deficiencies, and pursue back charges or remediation as appropriate.

    • Monitor subcontracting activities to ensure transparency and compliance.

    • Partner with leadership to proactively manage contractual risks, claims, and disputes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Serve as the primary interface between IT Product Centers, Business Leaders, and Service Providers.

    • Communicate contract strategy, performance insights, and risks to directors and senior leadership.

    • Train internal stakeholders on contract compliance, financial accountability, and procurement processes.

    • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with MSP leads and key vendors.

  • Process Improvement & Reporting

    • Develop and maintain contract governance processes, including workflows, RACI models, and control frameworks.

    • Leverage tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SharePoint) to deliver data-driven insights and reporting dashboards.

    • Drive continuous improvement in contract management practices, vendor governance, and operational efficiency.
