JOB DESCRIPTION:
The IT Contract and Procurement Specialist will perform a variety of duties focused on coordinating, organizing, and analyzing IT procurement requirements across various departments or program areas.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-level assistance and guidance to staff regarding IT procurement processes, budgets, and the utilization of contracts.
Coordinating, organizing, and analyzing IT requirements from internal stakeholders.
Maintaining comprehensive files and records to support internal and external audits.
Assisting and advising stakeholders across the agency on procurements, grants, contracts, associated budgets, and financial projections.
Gathering operational data necessary to track project status.
Reviewing time sheets and invoices against approved work orders and contract rates to prevent over-billing.
Maintaining a central, auditable repository for all contracts, solicitations, approved work orders, and submitted time sheets.
