This is a non-supervisory role responsible for managing the full IT contract lifecycle, including amendments, changes, modifications, and enforcement of performance clauses such as incentives and remedies. 1. The role serves as the primary subject-matter expert and key contact for contract-related and tender activities involving IT services, hardware, and software across the County. Responsibilities include statutory analysis; negotiating contract terms, conditions, and modifications; coordinating with Procurement and legal stakeholders; and ensuring contracts align with business needs and regulatory requirements. The IT Contracts Manager oversees contract execution, resolves issues, mitigates delays, assists with audits, mediates disputes, and escalates risks as needed. The role also focuses on securing optimal financial terms, managing vendor performance, and driving continuous improvement in contract management processes. Other Notables: * Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Business, IT, Paralegal, Pre-Law preferred) * Security: Milwaukee County Standard Background Check required
