DPP is seeking an IT Contract & Project Advisor for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
 
Work location: Partial onsite in Columbia, SC (onsite Tues., Wed., Thurs., and as needed)
Duration: 11 months
Terms: W2 contract to hire
 
Position summary:
  • This position will be responsible for managing key contract activities
  • Leads and supports renewal functions for critical IT vendor contracts
  • Tracks key contract playbook activities and milestones
  • Leads meetings with key stakeholders to include executive management
  • Collaborates closely with the Chief Negotiator, IS Negotiation team, key vendors, Asset Services, IS Finance and other partnering teams
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate drive, has the ability to present well to executive management, and exhibits situational awareness. 
Skills:
  • Project leadership and ownership of initiatives
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and drive initiatives
  • Experience presenting to executive level management 
Minimum required work experience:
  • 5 years of related work experience, including experience in project management, client relationship management, and process/product improvement. 
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • OR, Associates degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 9 years without a degree)

  • This department operates in a fast-paced environment, supporting a wide range of customers across the Company and most of the various lines of business. The department's work often involves tight deadlines, including busy end-of-quarter periods and a very busy year-end renewal season. At times, overtime may be required to meet critical deliverables.
