Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and negotiate technology procurement contracts, including hardware, software, telecommunications, and consulting services. This role also supports contracts related to human resources, online subscriptions, and financial data services. You will be part of the IT team, reporting to the Director of IT Contracts, and collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main liaison between IT and Legal to streamline the contracting process.
Facilitate interactions between business stakeholders and vendors.
Draft and review various agreements, including Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work for diverse IT services.
Ensure contract terms align with company policies and assist in business terms negotiations.
Manage existing contracts, ensuring all requirements such as insurance and IT security documents are validated.
Prepare, execute, and organize final contract documents in the repository.
Maintain a database tracking contract status and locations, and ensure adherence to document retention policies.
Support the IT Contracts Director in meeting standard requirements for all contracts.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in contract negotiation and management, with at least 3 years in IT or telecommunications agreements.
Bachelor's degree required;a paralegal or advanced degree is preferred.
Strong knowledge of telecommunications services and IT contracting processes.
Proficient in contract drafting and negotiation, with excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with budgeting, financial analysis, and Microsoft Word's "Track Changes"tool.
Some technical understanding of IT products and services is beneficial.

Decision-making authority ranges from medium to high, particularly regarding complex contract language.
The role demands a high degree of autonomy in managing priorities and daily tasks, ensuring timely completion of objectives.
Decisions can significantly impact the organization, where errors in contract drafting or review could lead to financial or legal risks.
Scope and Financial Responsibility
This position handles between 600-800 contracts annually, valued at $125M - $175M, with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
