The IT Coordinator serves as the on-site point of contact for all technology-related needs, providing direct support to employees while partnering with the HR/Operations department on HR-related tech needs. This role also acts as the liaison between internal staff and the company's third-party IT support provider. The ideal candidate brings a customer service mentality and strong problem-solving abilities to every interaction, ensuring employees feel supported and issues are resolved efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee IT SupportServe as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing technical issuesTriage and log technical issues, escalating to the third-party IT company as needed and following up to ensure timely resolutionProvide first-line, in-office troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issuesApproach every request with patience, empathy, and a solutions-oriented attitude, keeping employees informed throughout the resolution processHR/Operations Tech PartnershipCoordinate technology setup for new hires (laptops, accounts, logins, software access) in partnership with HR/OperationsAssist with offboarding tasks, including equipment retrieval and account deactivationSupport HR/Operations with tech-related issues for systems such as HRIS, payroll platforms, and other employee-facing toolsWork closely with HR/Operations to align on processes, timelines, and priorities for tech-related employee lifecycle needsAct as the go-between for employees and the third-party IT company, ensuring issues are communicated clearly and resolved promptlyCoordinate equipment orders, repairs, and replacements with the IT vendorAsset ManagementManage the company cell phone plan, including new lines, upgrades, billing review, and troubleshootingMaintain accurate inventory of IT equipment (laptops, monitors, phones, accessories), including check-in/check-out logsSupport office technology needs (conference room AV, printers, network connectivity)Assist with documentation of IT procedures and onboarding/offboarding checklistsQualifications2-3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or office operations roleStrong customer service mentality with a friendly, professional, and patient demeanorExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and find practical solutions independently or by coordinating with the right resourcesStrong communication and organizational skills; comfortable working across departmentsBasic troubleshooting knowledge for Microsoft 365 productsExperience with inventory tracking and vendor coordination preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities and act as a dependable point of contact in-officeSchedule4 days per week in-office; 1 day per week remote (work-from-home)About Thomas ParkThomas Park is a full-service commercial real estate firm offering alternative investment strategies and third-party commercial real estate services.#J-18808-Ljbffr
