IT Datacenter Smart Hands Engineer

Your skills\n\n 2\u20135 years of datacenter, network, or smart hands experience\n Strong knowledge of network and hardware infrastructure\n Experience with routers, switches, and physical network installations\n CCNA or equivalent networking certification required\n Ability to work independently in mission-critical environments\n This role is a Salary Non-Exempt position with a targeted salary range of $65,000 \u2013 $70,000 USD\n \nYour tasks\n \nHemmersbach is seeking an experienced Network / Datacenter Smart Hands Engineer to provide onsite support within datacenter, laboratory, and network environments. The role focuses on physical infrastructure support, network operations assistance, and hands-on troubleshooting.\n \nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Perform cable tracing, hardware replacement, rack-and-stack activities, and power cycling.\n \n\n Support servers, storage devices, network equipment, and datacenter infrastructure.\n \n\n Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VoIP, switches, routers, and firewalls.\n \n\n Maintain cable management, labelling, inventory, and UPS validation activities.\n \n\n Support datacenter operations, migrations, and infrastructure projects.\n \n\n Document work and update ServiceNow tickets in accordance with SLA requirements.\n \n\n \nBe part of us\n \nHemmersbach provides IT infrastructure services in more than 190 countries with 50 own subsidiaries.
