IT DevOps Intern, Summer 2026Tyler Technologies' Corporate IT Applications team has a summer intern opportunity for an IT DevOps intern. The intern will work closely with the Applications DevOps team to support Atlassian JIRA and Confluence. This is a great experience to gain real-world development and corporate toolset exposure. The internship runs May 26 (or thereabouts) through early August.As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.LocationPlano, Texas | Lakewood, Colorado | Lawrenceville, Georgia | Yarmouth, Maine | Troy, Michigan | Lubbock, TexasTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesResolve User issues as they come into the Developer Operations QueueCreate development issue tracking projects and troubleshoot access issuesLiaise with IT and related Business Units on solution requirementsAble to execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered.Research and develop plans and tools needed for data migrations from acquisition applications into corporate DevOps applications.Create or update system and architecture documentation as neededWork with Tyler IT teams to provide advanced support and troubleshooting of external application integrations with corporate developer operations applicationsQualificationsHave completed sophomore or junior year of bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.Ability to conduct independent research and present recommendations based upon findings.Familiar with product issue tracking and document repositories.Familiar with automation software.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to details.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Background in or exposure to user experience principles is helpful.SQL, PowerShell, and/or Python experience preferred.Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA or Confluence software is helpful but not required.State‑Specific Salary Range Disclosure RequirementsSalary will generally fall between $26,146 - $34,382 before adjustment for geographic differences.
