Details:
Responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, support, and technical consultation for the communication network of the organization, as well as for the development of technical standards and interface applications. Includes expertise in one or more of the following: voice and data networks, wireless services, and network security disciplines. Ensures effective deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN (Virtual Private Networks), and IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems). Manages centralized management schemes such as system updates, patch distributions, log analysis, and report generation. Provides technical leadership for network operations, security compliance, and infrastructure optimization.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.

Relevant Experience

• 11-15 years of experience leading enterprise network projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and network optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, architecture, and deployment of large-scale voice and data networks.
• Develops and enforces network security standards, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Manages complex network infrastructures, including firewall automation, VPN configurations, and IPS implementations.
• Expertise in network security analysis, centralized management schemes, and high-availability network solutions.

Additional Job Details

• Assist with business requirement assessment of new projects requested by subsidiaries and help deploy/implement network solutions.
• Projects include infrastructure to support our back-office functions for battery, wind, solar, and fossil plants.
• Under limited supervision, contribute in a hands-on manner with the implementation of network infrastructure.
• Create as-built design documentation for all new projects and maintain the availability and integrity of our enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Maintain the security of network infrastructure and compliance with all applicable industry and security standards (NERC CIP, PCI, SOX etc.).
• Collaborates with engineering and architecture groups; works with project team members to define requirements and deliver projects.
• Partners with Architects and project teams, to ensure integration of application/infrastructure architectures with enterprise blueprints and roadmaps.
• Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task projects with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
