IT Engineer available...
Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)

Infrastructure • Azure • VMware • Networking • Security • Automation
This is not a traditional systems administration role.
My client is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer who understands how cloud services, virtualization, networking, security, and automation work together to support a high-performance software development environment.

The strongest candidates don't simply administer systems. They understand why systems are designed a certain way, how technical decisions impact reliability and security, and how infrastructure choices support the business.

What You'll Own
Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
VMware vSphere environments
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Network infrastructure, firewalls, and security
Endpoint management and security
PowerShell automation and process improvement
Dev/Test environment support for software development teams
Infrastructure monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery

What they're Looking For
Required Experience
Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
VMware vSphere / ESXi
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and firewalls
Endpoint security and systems administration
PowerShell scripting and automation
Windows and Linux server administration

Nice to Have
CI/CD and DevOps exposure
GitHub or Jira integrations
Docker or Kubernetes
SQL Server administration
AI-assisted automation tools

What Success Looks Like
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and taking ownership across multiple disciplines.
We're not looking for a VMware administrator, network engineer, or cloud engineer.
We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who understands how these systems work together and can explain not only what they do, but why they do it.
