Job Summary:
The IT Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing IT hardware assets and supporting day-to-day operational activities related to equipment lifecycle management. This role focuses on inventory management, hardware troubleshooting, equipment deployment, and asset tracking to ensure efficient distribution and maintenance of IT devices across the organization.
The position supports IT operations by preparing hardware for deployment, performing equipment setup and recovery, assisting with technical triage, and coordinating asset logistics for staff and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory and asset tracking for compute and mobile development devices
Provide basic technical support triage including break/fix repairs
Perform OS imaging for new device deployments and secure wiping for recycled or donated devices
Support facility-related IT projects including desk setups and equipment teardowns for new hires and terminations
Clean, refurbish, and prepare hardware for redeployment
Coordinate IT asset distribution, shipping, and tracking logistics
Assist with Technology Operations project initiatives
Prepare computers for deprecation and asset lifecycle management
Support computer setups and equipment distribution to staff
Required Experience:
1+ year of experience in IT asset management or hardware support roles
Experience supporting device deployment and hardware lifecycle management
Experience working in fast-paced technical support environments
