Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an IT Field Service Technician -Tier 2 for a Contract with a client in Southpointe, PA. The ideal candidate will support and maintain critical IT infrastructure across field and office environments by diagnosing complex technical issues, coordinating vendor repairs, and implementing technology solutions.

Rate Range: $28/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Field Service Technician -Tier 2 Responsibilities include:

• Provide Tier 2 onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and end-user technologies across office and field locations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, VPN, Citrix, and collaboration technology issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

• Install, configure, image, deploy, and maintain workstations, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.

• Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 3 teams and coordinate with vendors and field service resources for timely resolution.

• Support IT asset management, security compliance, patch management, and change control processes to ensure operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and support teams to identify root causes, implement solutions, and improve overall IT service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3-7 years of IT support experience, including 3-5 years supporting end users, executives, and VIP customers in an enterprise environment.

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, VPN, Citrix, networking, and mobile devices.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network connectivity, and collaboration technology issues in both onsite and remote support environments.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
