Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily MMIS, Encounter Processing System, and supporting-system operations and coordinate with vendors, Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and other stakeholders.
- Manage vendors and monitor SLAs and service performance.
- Develop desk aids, process flows, SOPs, and operational documentation and train team members on support processes and ticketing tools.
- Lead teams providing production support, helpdesk, interface/EDI support, stakeholder monitoring, and UAT.
- Manage incidents, issues, tickets, escalations, documentation, tracking, and timely resolution of production problems.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure decisions, corrective actions, and escalations are properly documented.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, SSA, and other security requirements and track findings/recommendations through completion.
- Lead release management, stakeholder communications, implementation readiness, pre-deployment planning, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Support change management, backlog grooming, prioritization, and approval-gate compliance.
- Assign and oversee team workload and provide guidance across frontline, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field; 5+ years equivalent business/systems analysis or computer systems development/modification experience may substitute.
- 3+ years managing system operations and/or administrative program functions in a healthcare environment.
- 5+ years of project/program management experience managing system implementations or enhancements.
- Ability to provide on-call and after-hours incident management/support.
- Experience managing operations of Medicaid Enterprise Systems.
- Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and MMIS domain concepts.
- Experience with ticketing software.
- Experience developing SOPs for new system implementations.
- Strong presentation and reporting skills.
- AWS Cloud Certification(s).
