IT Help Desk Engineer L3

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Engineer to join a growing IT team supporting more than 1,500 end-user devices across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an IT professional who thrives on solving complex endpoint challenges, improving device management processes, and delivering an exceptional employee support experience.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows endpoint management, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, along with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for continuously improving desktop operations. This position also serves as a senior technical resource, providing Tier 3 support while helping mentor junior support staff. Fluent Spanish and English communication skills are required to effectively support a bilingual workforce.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise desktop and laptop management solutions.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot environments.
- Create, deploy, and maintain application packages using Intune and Patch My PC, including Win32, MSI, and EXE deployments.
- Manage operating system and application patching while monitoring compliance and resolving exceptions.
- Configure and maintain device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and endpoint lifecycle management.
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex desktop, laptop, and endpoint issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term technical solutions.
- Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians through documentation, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with IT Security to investigate endpoint threats and assist with remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, runbooks, and user guides.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and occasional after-hours updates when needed.
- Travel to regional offices and newly acquired locations to support deployments and integration efforts.
- Contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvement projects and additional IT initiatives.
