Summary
The IT Help Desk Support Specialist is a hybrid position that combines responsibilities from desktop support, field operations, and foundational systems/networking tasks. This role provides hands-on support for hardware, software, network infrastructure, and field installations. The ideal candidate is self-directed, technically skilled, and adaptable-capable of supporting a wide range of IT environments from office desks to active field sites.
This position replaces and upgrades the former "IT Help Desk" role, emphasizing greater technical depth, field readiness, and independence.
