Summary of the Position: The Help Desk Technician assists users in resolving computer issues that may interfere with functionality and the overall user experience and offers the first level of support for users who need assistance. Key ResponsibilitiesProvides technical support to users in person, through email, phone and web-based platforms as neededWorks in conjunction with company's third-party IT provider to address help desk tickets and other IT projectsPinpoints technical issues based on reported symptoms and diagnostic reportsPerforms basic tasks such as resetting passwords and adjusting key settings, assisting with printers, phones, etc. as needed Assists with routine tasks, such as distribution and set up of company electronic equipment, phones, assisting with badges, running lines/cables, installing video cameras, etc. Follows and supports all quality, safety, and environmental standards applicable to the jobThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
