IT Helpdesk Technician - Technical Support

Schedule: Monday - Friday

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled IT Helpdesk Technician to provide frontline support for end users in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide range of technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to end users, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, software, and network-related problems
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications, print drivers, and system utilities
• Monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and implement corrective actions
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary
• Support and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal functionality and uptime
• Deliver strong customer service while managing multiple support requests

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of IT support or helpdesk experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1 to 3 years of customer service experience in a professional setting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software environments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to support a variable shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Prior experience in a high-volume support environment
