TDMC manages all aspects of venue management, including but not limited to event booking, event management, marketing, IT, technical services, food & beverage, parking, security, housekeeping, changeover, maintenance, and more. TDMC manages several venues in Fort Worth, TX.
Job Summary:
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician. This position will support our internal Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and the technology systems installed at the facility. This includes supporting both our internal staff-facing and guest-facing systems, as well as network set-up and configuration for events. The successful candidate will be expected to address a wide range of technologies and functions.
This position is 100% on-site and supports the Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) location.
Essential Job Functions:
- Managing the tech support helpdesk, logging and tracking requests in the ticket system, and responding with resolution.
- Conducts work in a neat manner and in accordance with industry best practices.
- Makes and implements a daily work plan that supports business and operational needs.
- Prepares work schedules, procedures, and workflow as necessary.
- Documents work and communicates plans to all stakeholders.
- General Microsoft Office 365 user environment setup, configuration, and management.
- Configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Server platforms.
- User helpdesk (passwords, printers, phones, laptops, desktops, hardware, software support).
- Software patching and upgrades.
- Cisco telephone user support and configuration.
- Support of mobile devices. Understanding of MDM and Apple iPad best practices and controls
- Support moves and changes of user equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting of networking, cabling, and wireless.
- Understanding network cabling standards and making cables.
- Logging help requests with vendors and following through to resolution
- Installation, setup, and configuration of switches, phones, computers, and printers for staff.
- Set up of portable switches, phones, printers, computers, and wireless on portable racks for events.
- General knowledge of enterprise switches and routing networks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years or age
- Experience with Microsoft Office Environment/Active Directory.
- Cisco CCNA-level or higher certification preferred.
- Microsoft 365 Certification: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Certification preferred.
- Understand Computer/Networking/Telecommunication practices and standards
- Knowledge of Cisco Networking
- Ability to provide thorough and complete technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and can make a plan and implement it as appropriate.
- Possess an outgoing personality suited to providing exceptional customer service, solving problems, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Working Conditions:
- Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Employees will spend the majority of their time operating computers and other office equipment.
- Employees may regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
- Employees will be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
- Employees will regularly work around animals typically found in a fair/4H/FFA environment (horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, dogs, etc.).
- Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
- Employees will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.
- Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
