Job Responsibility: Maintains, designs, implements, and supports the corporate infrastructure by identifying requirements, installing upgrades, troubleshooting, and monitoring performance.
Job Duties:
Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN,QoS), telecommunications, and productivity tools
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor systems and identify performance issues, proactively ensures system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide Tier- 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues for internal and external customers
Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects.
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team
Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications
Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors and contract consultants
Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendor to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of contract
Responsible for project management and implementation of corporate infrastructure capex projects with limited supervision.
Ability to be on call for emergencies
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science/Technology
5 years of infrastructure and network experience in a corporate environment
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of network software and current operating systems
Ability to work independently and be attentive to details
Problem solving, planning, ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Good Verbal and Communication Skills
