Description
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in IT management or senior systems administration.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and modern cybersecurity tools.
- Proven experience managing IT budgets and third-party vendor relationships.
- Strong leadership skills to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff and senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance and security of local office networks, servers, hardware, laptops, workstations, and peripherals.
- Lead and mentor small team of IT support specialists for high-quality internal customer service.
- Manage office IT budget, including hardware/software procurement and vendor contract negotiations.
- Develop and enforce office-wide IT policies, data security protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with Sr. Director of Engineering to align IT infrastructure with rail engineering teams' technical needs.
- Proactively identify system vulnerabilities and implement upgrades or automated solutions for efficiency.
