Role: IT Infrastructure Project Manager
\nLocation: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Hybrid(2-3 Days office in week)
\nJob Type: Contract
\nThe infrastructure of information technology comprises of hardware systems, software, network
\nconnections and servers. An IT infrastructure project manager will manage various IT infrastructure needs of the exchange or a project. This role requires solid infrastructure skills to manage complex infrastructure projects and manage multiple work streams and complex projects.
\nResponsibilities include (but not limited to):
\n•Manage Stakeholder Relationships
\n•Manage Development of the Project Plan
\n•Manage Project Progress
\n•Manage Project Acceptance
\n•Manage Project Transitions
\n•Evaluate & Improve Project Performance
\nKnowledge Strong understanding of:
\nHealthcare issues, information systems, management issues, and current trends.
\nConceptualizing business strategies while implementing information systems and technology strategic direction.
\nSkills
\nExcellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically with complex infrastructure environments
\nExpert hands-on knowledge of building a critical path and understanding the right questions to ask
\nCommand of Schedule, Scope, Budget, Quality and Benefits always in the life cycle of the project
\nActively manage a critical path which allows for a line of sight into risk/issues before they have project/program impact
\nPrevious hands-on infrastructure experience
\nKnowledge of the several of following helpful: Cisco Infra Products, PowerCenter/Power Exchange, ISIM/ISAM, Sailpoint IIQ, CA workload Automation, SQL Server, WebSphere, DataPower, LDAP, Corticon Rules Engine etc.
\nExcellent analytical and observation skills
\nAbility to keep up with latest developments in the field and upgrade IT infrastructure
\nGood communication and negotiation skills
\nExcellent planning and organization ability
\nExcellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline
\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
\nDuties & Responsibilities
\nThe primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
\nAssessing the requirements of the project and recommending suitable IT components
\nAnalyzing different options and recommending the most suitable for the project
\neconomically feasible
\nWork on improving the IT infrastructure of the organization
\nRecommend upgrades and new systems that will be more useful for the project
\nPrepare Plan and status report for IT infrastructure projects
\nAlways keep a check on the project KPI’s and ensure that project KPI’s are not breached
\nFormulating procedures and policies for optimum utilization of IT infrastructure resources in the company
\nSupervising IT staff, consultants, vendors, and suppliers
\nMeeting with managers of different departments and assessing IT infrastructure needs
