Pruitt Tool & Supply, Co. is currently seeking candidates for an IT Intern at our corporate offices in Fort Smith, AR.
We are an API Q1 Quality Management Certified company and we manufacture/refurbish specialized drilling equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
We are seeking candidates to work as part of the Information Technology Team providing IT support to users. Incumbent will provide technical support/repair for all users on PC's, printers, smart phones, software deployment, patches, etc. This support may be provided in person, via telephone or video conference, etc. Additional duties include running cables and phone lines, equipment repair on computers, printers, servers, scanners, etc.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a hands-on technology role and 3 months experience in a customer service or other assistance type role. Candidate selected must be enrolled in college classes and able to work approximately 20 hours a week during the school term. Hours may be increased during the summer and on holidays. We offer flexibility to work around incumbent's class schedule.
Preferred candidates will be available for consecutive semesters. Additionally, incumbent must be extremely detail oriented, able to think creatively to solve problems, possess an aptitude for troubleshooting problems using logic and critical thinking skills and be able to multi-task and easily transition from one task to another.
Candidate selected must pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
