IT Inventory Specialist

Location: Washington, DC On Site M-F (Capitol Hill)

Long term Temporary (24 months base period of performance with 4 option years). Potential to go perm.

Compensation: $23.72/hr. + $5.09/hr. Health & Welfare = $28.81/hr. (some overtime may be required during busy seasons

Some Sat and Sunday hours may be required in December
Business casual (company shirt provided)

Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check.
  • Excellent customer service / ability to work with high profile customers
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, in a high passed environment
  • Entry level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum High School Graduate or GED with 2 years' experience working in asset management, logistics, warehouse operations and/or inventory.
  • Ability to safely lift to 75 lbs. Physical mobility is required, involving walking, crouching, bending, and lifting.
  • Proven ability using an automated financial system such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or Deltek.
  • Assist in conducting an annual physical inventory of all existing assets using scanner technology.
  • Generate reports as requested by management.
  • Ensure all client's property is handled properly to prevent damage.
  • Experience setting priorities and ensuring timely completion of deliverables (performing annual physical inventory, reconciling, receiving and disbursement of assets) overseen by the Supervisor or Manager.
