Aramark Nexus is hiring an IT Manager to lead technology operations for Caprock, a large-scale workforce community near Pampa, Texas

This full-time technology leadership opportunity is designed for an experienced IT Manager, Information Technology Manager, IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Network Manager, or Technology Manager who has supported a large physical footprint, complex network infrastructure, and multiple integrated technology systems.

The IT Manager will be responsible for the technology environment supporting a 24/7 residential and hospitality operation. This includes network infrastructure, connectivity, hardware, end-user technology, systems integrations, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, technology projects, and ongoing support across the site.

We are specifically interested in candidates with experience supporting hotels, resorts, cruise ships, large campuses, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, or other complex operations where technology must work reliably across multiple buildings, departments, users, and operating systems.

This role requires someone who can combine strong technical knowledge with project management and operational leadership. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing large network deployments, coordinating technology vendors, overseeing system implementations, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering with operational leaders to ensure technology supports the entire resident and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides analysis and standard design, configures, installs, and optimizes servers, LANs (local area networks - both network operating systems and the network infrastructure and cable plant), their interfaces with WANs (wide areas networks), and data communications hardware and software (e.g., routers, bridges).  
• Understands and supports virtual environments including cloud-based environments. 
• Coordinates with and provides appropriate support to third parties performing server, LAN and data communications configurations and installations.  
• Conducts preliminary installation testing of servers, LANs and data communications capabilities, coordinating as appropriate with IT Field Support and Master Data teams. 
• Maintains and repairs, and/or coordinates third party maintenance and repair of servers, switches, routers, and other data communications equipment.  
• Resolving problems (on site during business hours; on-call support during ?off-hours?)  
• Assuring the efficient and trouble-free operation of all infrastructure servers, data communications equipment, remote and local communications gear, as well as remote communications gear. 
• Restoring the availability of failed or degraded network components and/or facilities to satisfy service level agreements. 
• Performing hardware and software upgrades on network operating systems - Provides second-level support for hardware, operating system, database, or communications problems. 
• Ensures consistent security of all POS, database, and networks in ARAMARK control. 
• Applies in-depth knowledge of LAN protocols and diagnostic techniques to analyze, diagnose, and resolve network problems. 
• Effectively communicates with client technology personnel on all joint venture implementations. 
• Develops and updates systems documentation for LANs, WAN interfaces, and infrastructure interfaces. Includes technical reference materials. 
• Manages infrastructure vendors across the Aramark account portfolio ensuring that value and customer service always meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Requires progressive experience in information technology, IT operations, network infrastructure, systems administration, technology management, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, Network Manager, Systems Manager, or similar technology leader is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting a hotel, resort, cruise ship, large campus, healthcare facility, entertainment complex, or other large-footprint operation is highly valued.
• Strong experience with enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, connectivity, hardware, telecommunications, and technology troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience leading large network deployments, technology integrations, system implementations, or other complex IT projects.
• Strong project management experience, including managing vendors, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience supporting multiple integrated business systems and coordinating technology across different operational departments.
• Strong understanding of IT security, access management, data protection, system reliability, and operational continuity.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Schedule flexibility is required and may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours escalation based on the needs of a 24/7 operation.

Free Room & Board

This position includes free room and board at Caprock for the duration of employment in the role. Team members receive private on-site housing and three meals per day at no cost, providing an opportunity to significantly reduce everyday living expenses while working at Caprock.

Housing is provided in a private, single-occupancy unit with a bed, work area, television, dedicated bathroom and shower, and in-room connectivity. Team members may return home during scheduled time off, providing flexibility while maintaining their Caprock housing.

Caprock is a professional workforce community. Visitors and pets are not permitted in employee housing. The community is designed with safety, security, convenience, and quality of life in mind, with additional amenities continuing to be added as Caprock grows.
