About You You're a people-first technologist who genuinely enjoys showing up every day, working alongside colleagues at all levels, and making their lives easier through smart, modern solutions. You don't just resolve issues — you look for opportunities to improve the way people work and aren't shy about bringing those ideas forward. You bring energy, resilience, and a sense of urgency to everything you do. When things get tough, your attitude stays positive and your focus stays sharp. You're known for following through — if you say you're going to do something, it gets done. You go beyond the ask without being asked, and "no" is rarely your first response. You're a solution finder by nature. Above all, you do the right thing for the right reason. You've earned trust through consistency, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people and organizations you serve — and you understand that confidentiality isn't just a policy, it's a professional standard you hold yourself to without exception. POSITION OVERVIEW The IT Manager will serve as our internal technology authority — the go-to resource for systems, tools, and the operational workflows that keep the agency running efficiently. In this role, you will own and manage our Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, oversee our SaaS portfolio, and serve as the primary liaison with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), who handles infrastructure, security monitoring, and 24/7 support. Day-to-day, you'll provide on-site support while also working at a higher level to drive process improvement and technology efficiency across the organization. This is a role that blends hands-on problem solving with strategic systems thinking — ideal for someone who is equally comfortable resolving an issue on the spot and planning for what the business needs next. Job Responsibilities MSP Relationship Management - Serve as the primary liaison with our Managed Service Provider — reviewing Statements of Work and agreements, holding the MSP accountable to service commitments, and representing the agency in regular performance reviews

Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Ownership - Own, administer, and continuously optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint architecture, permissions, governance, and user adoption
- Identify and implement underutilized M365 capabilities that can improve collaboration and efficiency across the agency
IT Documentation & Knowledge Management - Build and maintain comprehensive IT documentation, SOPs, and system guides so that institutional knowledge lives with the organization — not with any one individual
- Ensure documentation stays current as systems and processes evolve
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Partnership - Partner with departments across the agency to identify inefficiencies and deliver technology solutions that improve how work gets done
- Serve as a proactive advisor — bringing ideas to the table before problems arise
SaaS & Software Portfolio Management - Own the company's full software portfolio — conduct regular audits for redundancy, eliminate unused licenses, identify gaps, and ensure every platform is actively delivering value
- Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and contract terms across the software stack
Asset Management & Device Lifecycle - Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory
- Manage the full device lifecycle from procurement and configuration through retirement and disposal
On-Site Support & Employee Experience - Provide responsive, friendly on-site support for devices, printers, peripherals, and workplace technology
- Own the new hire onboarding technology experience — ensuring every employee is set up, connected, and ready to contribute from day one

- Experience auditing and managing a multi-platform SaaS environment — evaluating tools for value, eliminating redundancy, and managing renewals
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, endpoint management, and device lifecycle management
- Experience building and maintaining IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases
- Strong project management skills — able to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and follow through without being prompted
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical employees at all levels of the organization
- High degree of integrity and professionalism, with a strict commitment to confidentiality
Technical Requirements: - Proficiency in DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking protocols

- Strategic yet tactical — able to see the big picture while managing day-to-day operations effectively
