    IT Manager

    Reports to: Vice President of Planning and Systems

    About the Senior Administrator Role

    As the Senior Administrator, you are the bridge between visionary business goals and technical execution. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Planning and Systems, you will lead our talented IT team, ensuring our technology is not just functional, but a competitive advantage. You are a master of both people and processes, turning complex organizational needs into streamlined digital realities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The captain: Lead and mentor the Planning and Systems staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • The Project Pilot: Own the Project Management lifecycle, working cross-departmentally to ensure every tech initiative finishes on time and on target.
    • The Gatekeeper: Manage the high-stakes world of vendor approvals, risk assessment, and change control-ensuring every update is a step forward, not a step back.
    • The Security Sentinel: Oversee weekly/monthly information security reviews and lead the charge in responding to security incidents with precision.
    • The Architect of Knowledge: Maintain the "Source of Truth" by documenting vital system and process changes in the IT Department Handbook.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
    • Extensive knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and security best practices
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
    • Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
    • Access to reliable transportation

    Preferred

    • Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline

    Schedule

    Full-time position; Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed

    Travel: Valid driver's license required for local travel using personal vehicle

    Physical Demands:

    Primarily sedentary; includes use of standard office equipment.
