As IT Manager, you will lead the technology team responsible for SV Microwave’s infrastructure, cybersecurity, internal software development, and future technology initiatives. You will ensure our network, business systems, and data are secure, available, and built to scale.
Because SV Microwave serves defense and aerospace customers, this role carries significant cybersecurity and compliance responsibility (NIST, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR).
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader of people, who excels at strategic thinking, project management, and has the ability to communicate clearly with people at every level of the organization.

Responsibilities - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, develop, and grow the infrastructure and software development teams (network administrators, programmers, application developers, and emerging roles). Assign work, set expectations, and facilitate growth.
- Project Management: Prioritize internal projects, manage delivery schedules, software and hardware upgrades, systems, and 3rd party integrations
- Infrastructure: Oversee core IT infrastructure team for cloud and on-prem environments, mitigate risks and manage disaster recovery to guarantee operational availability and continuity
- Develops and implements policies and procedures for the use of technology within the organization
- Stays up-to-date with advances in technology and makes recommendations for incorporating new technologies into the organization
- Ensures the security of sensitive data and systems, including implementing data backup and recovery procedures and cyber security tools
- Creates documentation, communicates changes and organizes/conducts training for employees as needed
- Maintains effective communication and working relationships across SV as a whole
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience leading technical teams
- A high degree of integrity and personal responsibility
- Background in project management and resource allocation
- Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure – Microsoft Windows Servers and Workstations, Firewalls, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMWare, NAS, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP
- General understanding of the application development architectures, databases -Microsoft .NET framework – C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL
- Familiarity with security and compliance regulations related to defense manufacturing (CMMC, NIST, ITAR, DFARS) preferred
