Position Summary
Our international transportation and logistics customer is seeking a full time IT Manager to be a hands-on technology leader responsible for managing the company's technology systems, security, user support, vendors, and technology projects. This role partners with leadership, employees, managed service providers, and software vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions that support business operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Operations & Support

  • Administer and support core business applications including Santa Cruz, Front, Fleetio, Samsara, QuoteBot, Driver Schedule, Dropbox, and related systems.
  • Manage user access, permissions, security settings, and system configurations.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and serve as the primary escalation point for technology incidents.
  • Coordinate upgrades, implementations, testing, and ongoing system improvements.

Microsoft 365 & Security

  • Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Defender.
  • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, access controls, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.

Vendor & Project Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison with MSPs, software vendors, and technology partners.
  • Manage technology projects, software implementations, system migrations, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate vendor performance, licensing, contracts, and service delivery.

Data, Reporting & Documentation

  • Support reporting, analytics, data migration, and system integrations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, training materials, and user guides.
  • Assist business teams with process improvement and data-driven decision making.

Asset Management

  • Manage company technology assets, inventory, hardware lifecycle, software licenses, and employee onboarding equipment.

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Business Systems: Santa Cruz, Front, Fleetio, Samsara, QuoteBot, Driver Schedule, Mobile Text Alerts, Textline, Dropbox
  • Microsoft 365: Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender
  • Infrastructure & Security: Fortinet, DUO MFA, Apple Business Manager, RingCentral, wireless networking, cybersecurity operations
  • Data & Reporting: Excel, SQL/T-SQL, analytics, data migration, Python scripting, system integrations

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of IT administration, systems support, or infrastructure experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications, technology projects, vendors, and MSPs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management, hospitality, or service-based industries.
  • Microsoft 365 administration and security experience.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, automation, and data migration projects.
