JOB DESCRIPTION
The IT Network Analyst Order Management is responsible for delivering and supporting complex ISP/carrier order management solutions for the client. This role ensures successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing client satisfaction by working with a distributed team of order management consultants to support a portfolio of global network enhancements.

This is a hybrid role that requires primarily remote work with occasional in-person presence at a local client office (~4 5 days/month).

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end order management for complex network orders, ensuring alignment with business requirements and successful delivery.
  • Participate in circuit testing, validation, and go-live activities to enable smooth transitions and reliable implementation.
  • Maintain order management dashboards, author weekly status updates, and track delivery milestones to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on industry best practices for network ordering, billing, and system usage.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, tool enhancements, and value creation to support customer success and business growth.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, and delivery approaches.
  • Maintain deep familiarity with carrier portals, customer workflows, and proprietary/internal systems to ensure accurate inventory and attribute data.

Desired experience

  • 5+ years in enterprise networking or telecommunications, with hands-on experience managing end-to-end ISP circuit orders in the U.S. and international markets across multiple carriers.
  • Strong functional understanding of network order management systems and telecom order/workflow processes.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and lead structured IT engagements, ensuring clarity, alignment, and delivery success.

Desired technical skills

  • Mid-level experience with ServiceNow and Splunk is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with order management or workflow-based systems in telecommunications environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and client reporting.
  • Familiarity with major carrier ordering frameworks (e.g., Telecommunication, Lumen, Spectrum, Telecommunication).
  • Knowledge of WAN circuit types and attributes: MetroE, MPLS, DIA, SD WAN; ASNs, VRFs, AVPN.
  • Understanding of enterprise CPE hardware and interfaces (router interfaces, NIDs, CSU/DSU) and common interface types (SFP, Ethernet).
