The position involves managing LAN/WAN networks, configuring routers and switches, securing WiFi systems, managing firewalls, implementing security measures like IPS/IDS, and monitoring network performance. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, including supporting routers, layer 3 switches, next-generation firewalls, and WiFi standards (802.11n/ac/ax). A bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, network segmentation, firmware upgrades, and after-hours support. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, VPNs, and network documentation is essential. This permanent role offers a salary of $100,000-$120,000 DOE.
