Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Network Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our organizations network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in network administration, troubleshooting, and security protocols. As an IT Network Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our network systems.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and wireless access points. Troubleshoot customers network and computer issues. Perform regular network maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and hardware upgrades. Troubleshoot network-related problems reported by users and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network solutions to improve the company's and clients infrastructure. Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support for network emergencies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience (2+ years) working as a network technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching concepts. Familiarity with network security practices and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Unifi, or similar equipment. Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
