A prominent manufacturer in the automotive sector is seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Operations Engineer to oversee, maintain, and support critical enterprise IT systems and infrastructure across two of our facilities. In this role, you will administer server and network environments, manage daily helpdesk workflows, and provide essential Tier II/III technical support. What You'll Own

- Provide advanced Tier II/III technical support for end users and manage daily helpdesk operations.

- Install, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and physical IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime.

- Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, network switches, routers, firewalls, and virtualization technologies.

- Manage user accounts, organizational permissions, and system security policies.

- Perform critical system updates, backups, disaster recovery procedures, and general preventive maintenance.

- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to implement new technological solutions and maintain compliance with corporate security standards.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field (Required).

- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network administration (ideally in a multi-site or industrial environment).

- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN routing/switching, firewalls, and virtualization workloads.

- Practical experience managing a support ticketing system and guiding helpdesk workflows.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

- Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to accommodate regular travel between the Midway and Tazewell facilities.

Nice to Have

- IT experience within a manufacturing or automotive plant environment.

- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft Server/AD certifications, CCNA).

- Previous experience managing data backups and disaster recovery protocols.
