The Opportunity:
The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Operations Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency.
The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a key member of the global, 24/7 operations team supporting all infrastructure, devices, products, and solutions
Provides comprehensive Tier 2 support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, break/fix, and hands-on touch labor across multiple IT domains
Coordinates with Engineering resources for advanced troubleshooting
Performs scheduled and ad hoc maintenance, updates, and upgrades per authorized service interruption schedules
Provides continuous patch management for designated infrastructure (workstations, servers) across all networks and security domains
Provides information and coordinates on approved Plan of Action and Milestones
Monitors and analyzes capacity, performance, and service-level metrics to maintain optimal infrastructure utilization and prevent incidents
Participates in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) by researching new technologies and articulating evolutionary benefits to stakeholders
Uses Lab facilities to promote incident resolution and test the feasibility of new designs
Develops test cases and scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing to ensure complete coverage prior to deployment
Implements the transfer of engineered solutions through Blue/Green fielding
Collaborates with Engineering teams and Government stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure system reliability and operability
Works with technical writers to develop and maintain SOPs and knowledge base artifacts
Aids in creating CDRL documentation, reports, and data

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$103,800 - $218,100
