Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an IT Operations Support Senior Associate for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on IT operations and application support for manufacturing systems, ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of plant-floor technology that supports vehicle production.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Operations Support Senior Associate Job Responsibilities include:

Provide hands-on IT operations and technical support for manufacturing applications, infrastructure systems, and plant-floor technologies to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, network, hardware, and system issues while performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Support manufacturing execution systems (MES), operational technologies, and plant IT infrastructure to maintain system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, industrial controls, engineering, and business teams to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in the deployment, maintenance, and support of emerging technologies, including IIoT solutions, software-defined networks, mobility applications, and digital manufacturing systems.
Monitor system performance, analyze operational data, document issues and resolutions, and contribute to process improvements that enhance plant productivity and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in IT Operations, Technical Support, Infrastructure Support, Manufacturing IT, or Plant Technology environments.
Strong experience in IT operations support, technical troubleshooting, application support, infrastructure management, and incident resolution within a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven ability to support manufacturing systems, operational technologies, and plant-floor applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive system reliability, process improvements, and operational efficiency.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $45.00 per hour
