Department Overview
The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions.
The IT Portfolio Manager, Construction & Infrastructure serves as the central point of coordination and oversight for the portfolio of ITG-supported Design & Construction, infrastructure and space-related initiatives. Responsible for portfolio governance, intake, prioritization and tracking, technology scope identification, resource planning, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and performance reporting. Provides direct leadership and management for Project Managers and Project Coordinators who manage projects within the portfolio. Partners closely with the Manager, IT Plant Design and Operations to align facility planning, construction activities, and technology requirements.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field with 6 years of experience in IT; OR
Equivalent experience working in a complex information technology environment, AND
4 years or more paid work experience as a Project Leader managing and implementing related projects, AND
4 years of progressively responsible management duties.
Experience managing large, complex projects with high levels of interaction with senior leadership.
Experience leading ITG-supported Design & Construction, infrastructure and space-related initiatives.
Skills and Abilities
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of experience within a healthcare information technology environment.
6 years of project management experience, 3 of which are Information Technology project management in a healthcare setting, leading large project teams.
Experience with IT Program Management in Healthcare or an Academic Medical Center.
Experience mentoring project managers.
PMP certification.

Work Location: Hybrid Remote- remote
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
