NoJob Details:Minimum years of experience required:10+ yearsCertification needed: NoMust Have Skills: SAP MDGDetailed Job Description:SAP MDG Consultant (S/4HANA Stabilization) (anywhere in USA)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant with 10+ years of experience to support S/4HANA post-go-live stabilization, data governance, and master data management initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in SAP MDG, deep understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks, and hands-on experience in stabilizing master data processes in a complex, high-demand environment. Key ResponsibilitiesS/4HANA Stabilization & Hypercare Support Provide post-go-live stabilization (hypercare) support, ensuring smooth functioning of MDG processes and data governance operations Manage and resolve data-related incidents, defects, and inconsistencies in production systems Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure permanent fixes for recurring data issues Support transition from hypercare to steady-state with structured governance and backlog prioritization. SAP MDG Functional Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for master data domains:o Material Mastero Business Partner (Customer/Vendor)o Finance/Other domains Develop and manage:o Data modelso Governance workflowso Validation and derivation rules (BRF+) Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across enterprise systems Data Governance & Data Quality Management Define and enforce data governance standards, policies, and processes Monitor and improve data quality, accuracy, and completeness across systems Collaborate with business stakeholders and data stewards to ensure alignment with organizational data strategy Integration & Data Replication Manage integration between SAP MDG, S/4HANA, and external systems Configure and support:o Data replication frameworks (DRF, IDoc, APIs)o Data synchronization and harmonization Ensure seamless data flow across modules and systems Incident & Defect Management Lead resolution of complex production issues related to master data and workflows Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, integration) for enhancements and fixes Drive continuous improvements to reduce recurring data defects
