In this role, you will work closely with technical leads to ensure our processes—specifically in Change Management, Resiliency, and FinOps—are accurately captured, regularly updated, and optimized for efficiency.

This position is ideal for an analyst who excels at translating technical activities into clear visual maps and structured documentation within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Mapping: Use Microsoft Visio (or similar tools) to create and update process flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and organizational charts.

  • Resiliency Support: Help maintain documentation for technical resiliency and disaster recovery plans, ensuring all contact lists and recovery steps are current.

  • FinOps Coordination: Support the tracking of cloud spend workflows. Assist in documenting tagging standards and reporting processes to help teams monitor their Azure consumption and costs.

  • Data Maintenance: Ensure the process library is organized and accessible. Perform regular audits of existing documentation to identify and flag outdated information.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Schedule and facilitate discovery sessions with technical team members to gather requirements for process updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or Technical Writing role, ideally within the Financial Services industry.

  • Technical Workflow Familiarity: Foundational understanding of ITSM frameworks and how IT teams manage changes, incidents, and operational resiliency.

  • Visio Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools to create professional-grade process maps.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional writing skills with a focus on clarity, consistency, and structural accuracy.

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex technical tasks into logical, step-by-step instructions.

Preferred Skills

  • FinOps Certifications: FinOps Certified Practitioner or FinOps Certified Analyst.

  • Cloud Proficiency: Familiarity with Azure cloud concepts, cost management tools, and tagging strategies.

  • ITSM Standards: ITIL Foundation certification.

  • Data Governance: Basic understanding of metadata standards or data governance frameworks.

  • Consulting Mindset: Experience working with cross-functional teams in a consultancy or enterprise environment.
