Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Procurement & Contracts Coordinator in Canonsburg, WI. Summary: This position oversees the complete lifecycle of IT purchasing activities, including vendor engagement, contract oversight, and budget management. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable collaborating with both external vendors and internal teams to ensure IT investments are well-managed and aligned. Core Responsibilities:
  • Own the IT purchasing workflow from initiation to completion, including submitting requisitions, generating purchase orders, and reconciling invoices
  • Track vendor agreements across software and hardware, identifying upcoming expirations and proactively engaging suppliers to obtain renewal pricing and facilitate timely evaluations
  • Assist with onboarding new vendors by working with Supply Chain on required documentation and approval steps; Collaborate with Legal on MSAs and related contractual agreements
  • Maintain accurate records of software licensing, including seat allocations, and ensure consistency with active contracts
  • Work closely with IT leadership to support annual budget development, ongoing expense tracking, and provide regular reporting and forecasting insights
  • Drive the evaluation, rollout, and management of a centralized system for storing IT contracts; Implement processes for intake, organization, and critical date monitoring
  • Serve as a key liaison for vendor interactions, building strong relationships and managing procurement-related communication
  • Ensure all purchasing activities follow established approval processes and comply with company financial guidelines
  • Coordinate vendor meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and documenting key takeaways and next steps

Requirements:

  • Background in IT purchasing, contract coordination, or a similar function is beneficial, though not mandatory
  • Working knowledge of software licensing approaches and vendor agreement frameworks
  • Familiarity with purchase order processes and tracking budgets or expenses
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint; Exposure to project management or contract lifecycle systems is a plus
  • Experience working in organizations with multiple locations or distributed teams is advantageous

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
