Global Service Resources is looking for a contractor in Los Angeles.

Job Title: IT Production Support Assistant 871
Location: Downey, CA 90242
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $20-$25/hour

Responsibilities:
  • Support production applications in mainframe and midrange environments
  • Create, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot production jobs
  • Support COBOL applications and promote program packages using Endevor
  • Manage incident tickets and update resolutions
  • Review documentation and assist with team training/presentations
  • Operate mainframe consoles and execute scheduled jobs
Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • 2+ years of IBM mainframe operations and Control-M experience
  • 2+ years of data center and incident ticket management experience
  • 2+ years of Endevor experience managing JCL, PROCS, and control statements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year operating commercial high-speed printers (e.g., Canon varioPRINT 6220 TITAN MICR)
