IT Program Manager (AI & Cloud)
Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $65/hr W2
Duration: 12 Months
Open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders working independently. No sponsorship or third-party candidates.


Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead strategic AI and cloud-based technology initiatives. This role will oversee multiple IT projects within an enterprise AI program, ensuring successful delivery through effective project governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex IT programs involving AI technologies, Azure cloud platforms, modern data solutions, and enterprise governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple IT projects and programs aligned with business and technology objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Manage end-to-end project execution from planning through implementation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to gather requirements and define solutions.
  • Coordinate the integration of AI models, cloud platforms, and enterprise data solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage vendor relationships, oversee RFP processes, evaluate proposals, and support vendor selection.
  • Coordinate project build, testing, deployment, and implementation activities.
  • Support the development and governance of an AI Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Establish and maintain AI governance standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and executive updates to senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure projects remain within approved financial targets.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and promote project management best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in IT Project or Program Management.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise AI, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern data platforms.
  • Experience establishing or supporting AI governance frameworks and AI Centers of Excellence (CoE).
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project/program management certification.
  • Industry certifications related to AI, Data, Azure, or Cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing enterprise RFP processes and third-party vendors.
