IT Program Manager III

Location: Plano, TX / Charlotte NC (Onsite)

Duration: 10 months

PROJECT:Security Technology Incremental Application Updates and Maintenance

Role Overview

The Release Coordinator / Change Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end change and release activities. This role ensures all changes are compliant with enterprise standards and policies. This position acts as the central point of coordination across development, QA, and stakeholders to enable smooth, compliant, and high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Development Teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to create, manage, and submit high-quality Change Requests (CRQs).
  • Coordinate end-to-end release activities, including planning, scheduling, approvals, implementation, and post-production validation.
  • Drive CRQ lifecycle management, ensuring timely approvals, risk mitigation, and clear audit trails.
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk identification, and issue resolution related to releases and CRQs.
  • Provide regular status updates on releases, timelines, risks, and blockers to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management policies and standards for all releases.
  • Lead release readiness activities, including QA validation, resource alignment, and communication planning.
  • Perform quality checks to reduce failures in QA and production by validating completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
  • Support post-release activities, including validation, incident tracking, and lessons learned.
  • Act as a central communication point to ensure alignment across teams during release cycles.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline release and CRQ workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Release Coordinator / Change Coordinator
  • Experience in Project Administration, including tasks and deliverables management.
  • Proficiency in Process Project Execution.
  • Demonstrated ability in Project and Technical Management.
