Job Title: IT Program Manager – SAP Analytics Cloud
Location: 123 Main Street, White Plains, NY 10601
Work Type: Hybrid (Minimum 3 Days Onsite; Up to Fully Onsite Based on Department Needs)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $60/hr (W2)
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 7.5-hour workday with a 0.5-hour unpaid lunch
- Paid for actual hours worked
- No paid vacation or sick days
- Business closed during NYPA and Canals holidays (no work permitted on those days)
- Hybrid schedule requires a minimum of 3 days onsite
Project Overview
The IT Program Manager will support the execution of New York Power Authority (NYPA) initiatives within the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) program. This program includes the deployment of reporting and modeling solutions to support NYPA's ERP analytics functions, along with integrations across the ERP ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will bring strong IT project and program management experience, with knowledge of ERP systems, analytics technologies, and enterprise portfolio, program, and project management (EPPM) capabilities.
This role ensures seamless project execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with NYPA and Canals strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage IT projects within the SAP Analytics Cloud program, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategic objectives.
- Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
- Engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide status updates.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle.
- Manage and coordinate the RFP process, including issuing bids, evaluating proposals, and selecting vendors.
- Oversee vendor engagement and collaborate with internal teams to build, test, and implement deliverables.
- Communicate project status, risks, financials, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Manage IT project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with approved funding.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
- Support the development of scalable, sustainable enterprise portfolio, program, and project management (EPPM) capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Minimum 7 years of progressive IT project and program management experience, particularly in matrixed environments.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Knowledge of data analytics and financial modeling concepts.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
- Master's degree preferred.
