SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR EN-04
A qualified candidates online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e. EN-03 or GS-13. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert with the authority and responsibility for overseeing the development and utilization of IT systems and operations; and/or experience managing all aspects of the project management lifecycle.
Examples of Qualified Experience:
Proven experience leading or supporting IT projects/programs-planning, execution, delivery, and performance monitoring-using established project management practices to deliver on schedule and meet technical requirements.
Experience developing and making recommendations to senior leadership on complex IT project plans and proposals, focused on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness and enabling timely resource provisioning.
Experience with workflow modernization and operational automation-identifying opportunities for automation and AI/ML (when applicable), supporting pilots, and measuring outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
