IT Project Coordinator
Riverton, Utah (Hybrid schedule- onsite every Tuesday)
12–24-month contract
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00per hr.
Our client is seeking an energetic, highly organized individual to support a Solution Manager leading 20+ IT projects for a large internal team. This is an entry-level, task-oriented coordinator role suited for candidates with 1-2 years of professional experience. The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for seeing the project from initiation to delivery. This position plans and directs the schedule. This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and tracking 20+ concurrent IT projects.
- Use Excel to manage forecasts and project status reports (strong formula skills required, macros/coding a plus but not essential).
- Track engineer billing and ensure accuracy across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with the Solution Manager and engineering leads; minimal external stakeholder interaction.
- Aggregate project status from Jira into weekly Excel reports (Jira knowledge a plus; training provided if needed).
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive project data and PII.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
Required Skills:
- 2 years of relevant experience (recent graduates encouraged).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel required (formulas, data organization).
- Familiarity with Jira
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Must be able to work onsite in Riverton, UT every Tuesday (weekly iteration planning meetings).
- Works well in a team environment
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
Worthiness Qualification
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
